Endless War from a young Tennesseans' perspective

"...My entire teenage life was spent with my country being at war. I have gone through middle school, high school and now, I have almost completed college hearing about the death tolls on the evening news. I cannot remember what it is like to live in a country that is not at war. If my teacher was to look at my seventh-grade class on Sept. 11, 2001, and say, "Boys and girls, most of you will probably graduate college before we are done fighting the war that began on this very day," I would have thought he was insane...."
